Supplements for Healthy Hair Growth

Truth telling time: healthy hair grows from the inside out. It doesn't matter what miracle oils, conditioners, butters, pomaded and treatments you put on your hair - without proper nutrition, they mean nothing for your hair. No, that doesn't mean you need to drop your current nutrition plan and go vegan or paleo...although those are totally viable options if you so choose. The idea here is that what you put into your body is what you get out of it. Without certain vitamins, minerals, and other elements, your hair and body cannot be in optimal condition and health.

Of course, it is always best to get the vital nutrients your body needs from fresh, whole food sources. Unfortunately, unless you have your own farm, garden, or participate in a co-op that has the freshest produce, getting 100% of what you need will be virtually impossible. Sadly, many of the foods we eat (even minimally or unprocessed ones) lose a portion of their nutritive value from the time they are harvested until they make it on our plates. Luckily, all hope is not lost. There are plenty of vitamins, herbs, and supplements that can be taken to well, supplement your diet and promote healthy, strong hair growth.

So what vitamins and supplements work best? Keep reading at NaturallyCurly.com!

  2. Try using a special dandruff or clarifying shampoo. You can also try massaging your scalp with coconut oil, and then washing it out.

  3. I want to start off by saying it has taken me a while to get my hair to the point it is now, that point being going anywhere from 10-14 days between washes. I have worked up to going this long in between washes, lets just say dry shampoo and quality hair care products are my best friends. Since going so long between washes I have noticed a huge change in the texture and health of my hair. Recently I have been addicted to HASK Monoi products, not only do the smell amazing, helllooo coconut, but it's nice knowing I am using quality products on my hair that are free of sulfates, parabens, drying alcohol and artificial colors.

  6. A diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains can help increase your prebiotics intake. Alternatively, a supplement could be a convenient option. Consider Bio Complete 3 on https://www.gundrymdbiocomplete3.com/ . The supplement combines prebiotics, probiotics, and postbiotics to support gut health. Always consult with a medical professional before starting a new dietary supplement.
