Hey hey, everybody!
I feel like I've been away from the blog for what feels like forever. On February 4th, 2013 my Grandma was called home -- and since that day, I was in a whirlwind of planning with my family. My Gradma was so boss, she had to have two homegoing celebrations -- one in Maryland and one in LA. Between planning for the LA homegoing, trying to pay some sort of attention to work, family, and travel, I pretty much neglected The Mane Objective.
But now I'm back! Thank you to everyone who sent e-mails, Facebook messages, texts, cards, and more to myself and my family during the past two weeks. Grandma will be missed, but never forgotten. Besides, she's chillin' in heaven with Grandpa...waiting on the rest of us :)
As I play catch-up here, with Black Girl Long Hair, and everywhere else in life, expect to see some great posts and articles roll out. Oh, and for those that sent me e-mail inquiries, I will be getting back with you soon. Thanks for your patience!!!
